Give me liberty or give me death. It's coming to a head. Time to move forward with a mission. The people shall rise up and take back the power. No more corporate greed. No more oppression.

I take guitar lessons with Gregg over at DC guitar lessons. He does great work with the at risk children. I vote for his plan to get guitars and lessons to children in the city.

Bless this group of people doing God's work for the young people of our city. I grew up in Ward 7. We need as much help as we can get. There is so much wealth in our Nations Capital and yet across the river is some of the worst living conditions.

I see many good minded children come through our courtroom here in the District. Most of them wouldn't be here if they had something better to do and people that showed they care. This GnG program looks to be one of the programs that is making an effort to effect this children.

I see lots of suggestion all the time about how the Mayors office can fix something or should. I believe we the people need to take a step up. Turn off the televisions for one year. Get outside and work in our gardens and yes, get our children involved. Reach out to children as a city. This GnG program is bringing music to the lives of children. Music soothes the savage beast, AND music can soothe the child of a broken home, broken heart, broken dreams.

Never heard of this group until just now. Really applaud the goals, efforts of people in the community who work with our at risk youth. This is the root and seedlings of our future. If we engage programs that focus on our youth we won't have the divide of culture, income, and people. We wouldn't have the criminals in our community if we came together with the betterment of our children in our hearts and minds. Some programs try to use more government to address problems. Solutions are when we step away from government, and join together as a community.

This looks really good for the kids off the street. Get them doing something better than hanging around the streets.

Music in DC making the city better! Go for it! I played piano in school, then moved to bass guitar and now I play the electric six string. You have my votes! I urge the mayor and staff to look into making this concert event happen. Peace and Music Dave Sanders- Columbia Heights DC

After all the senseless gun violence in this city in the past, I get behind this group and the ideas to help. Thank you for what you are doing.
