    In Jersy City, NJ, people can post a no junk mail sign on their front door, saves a lot of trees, and garbage.

    Look for my Post about having an autumn Carnival. This idea could become part of such an activity.

    There are 4,000 Statehood Greens. This site writes so slowly it is hard to keep track of what one is writing.

    I am running for City Council At Large, under the Statehood Green Party banner. The city has 300,00 registered Democrats, 20,000 Republicans, 4,00 Statehood Greens, but 80,000 registered Independents. Help us build the SGP to be the second biggest in the city. If only 20,000 Independents would switch to SGP we could have real influence. For more information on how you can help, contact me at gleeaikin@yahoo.com. There is a contested primary on April 3rd.

    As and At Large candidate for City Council under the Statehood Green Party banner, I strongly support this idea. Downtown has many large roofs all about the same height (few shadows unlike in New York) that would be a perfect place to install solar that would also enhance power for their air conditioning and other daylight energy needs, a great combination of production and use.   8. Cut out the parking zone permit program as it exist. I live in Ward 6, if I want to visit Ward 4 I should not be treated like some tourist.

    Some people own more than one property, which they need to maintain, for example if the second one is a rental property. Two hours is not enough time to clean or do significant repairs. One should be able to buy an extra permit for parking at other properties they own.

  10. The Mayor informs us we have a partnership with Brazil. Let us have our own Carnival in the fall using Brazilian/New Orleans ideas
